Traveling to Colorado -- Seeking some advice

Whats up!

Currently driving out to Colorado for 3 weeks. Staying in hotels with out first 5 days in Frisco. My advice that I am seeking is, are there any bars in the area that serve cheap beer and friend food? Looking online and only finding expensive shit. Most my money is going on living for 3 weeks, so trying to save the money in any way possible.

Also, I will be staying in Avon the following week, any suggestions there?

Thanks!

I live in Denver so I'm not completely sure but I think your best bet might be to go to Safeway and get food from there. There's a liquor store a few doors down too.

Search on Google or urban spoon for restaurants and bars. Then filter for 1 dollar sign. Simple enough. Sounds like you're limited to dive bars and fast food. Good luck.

if you are in frisco head over to dillon and go to Lake Dillon Tavern...cheap drinks and cheap food.

yeahhhh thanks Mooseman! Will have to give them a try in the next couple of days.

Dillon Dam Brewing has killer food and okay beer prices......Now I say okay beer prices relative to alot of other shit around, probably 5$ a pint but its killer beer. Nice vibe too.

Happy hour every day 3-6pm and every beer is $3 except the ipa which is $3.75. Half price apps on Monday-Thursday and the nachos are the best deal by far.

Where the hell are you used to paying less than a pint?

5-5.50 is pretty standard. Anything under 5 is a deal.

Or are you saying its expensive compared to other places around?

If you ride Key, Dos Locos is your savior

ain't that the truth... if you're in breck, I believe mi casa is the sister restaurant under the same ownership, I think same happy hour deals too.

would highly recommend dillon ridge liquors, next to the king soopers in dillon, for your liquor store needs. also, if you're out at southside bars in breck... if memory serves me right, hungry dog actually has the cheapest PBRs of all the surrounding bars (and sometimes does 2 for 1), so go slam a few and grab a dog before hitting brooklyns etc.

Coming from Wisconsin that's slightly above average haha
