Well, I'm back from a winter in Whistler, and I gotta tell you all - GO DO IT...

Especially before you're out of University (if you're in)...you'll appreciate so much of what the west coast can offer that you will never find out here (sorry jodi, the Blue Mountain backcountry just can't compare)....

I only wish someone made me do it the day I graduated high-school, before I set all these damn roots in Toronto...

 
How much money did you bring, how many crazy jobs did you have to to work to not become a hobo, and how much do you have left?

well, I do internet and software development for a living...so even here in T.O. I work from home..I just arranged to do the same for the same employer, only I'd be in Whistler...and i have my own clients, etc..

So to answer your question, 1 job...the job I always had, the difference was when I wasn't working, I could take a lift up a mountain, instead of walking around the streets of Toronto...

err nice regarding the guy who was in whistler. I'd love to pull that off with my little web design business, but need some customers first.

 
Yeah, I've been doing this for years with regular clients, so I'm pretty fortunate to get consistent monthly income from past clients, etc.

Keep working at building your client list, and the referrals should keep you busy...

 
um... buddy, i don't think you gotta appologize to jodi on the fact that whistler is better than blue mountain. pretty sure that's just a known fact (unless you're just an idiot). if so than i'm really not sorry for you.
