Hey NS i need your help.

tomorrow i leave for a ski trip and was planning on packing my skis boots poles ski gear and a few clothes inside my ski bag so i could just carry a backpack on and not have to check any other bags. but my concern is that i will be charged for an oversize bag because i will have items other than just skis and poles inside my bag. please let me know asap so i can pack appropriately any help is much appreciated. have any of you had issues surrounding this topic or am i overthinking it. i am flying us airways / american airlines by the way if that helps

cheers,

Caleb

If you have a ton of clothes in there then you may be charged, but if you just have a couple t shirts and a couple pants then you should be fine.

I flew last week with jacket snowpants skis poles hiking boots, sleeping bag, helmet , couple hoodies and a vest and didn't have any issues... Most places allow a " boot bag" for free along with your ski bag as long as it only has your boots in there

Depends who you fly. I've flown with a big bag for 150 international which is fine, then another airline tried to charge me 650 for a 175 flight between two close countries. Fucking cunts.

Call the airline.

Honestly worth booking flights based on baggage policy imo
