At school they gave us this site called Ruckus to download music legally but I cant get the music onto my ipod. Does anyone know how to transfer songs from Ruckus to itunes?

the Ruckus songs have embedded DRM. You need to use a program like Tunebite to strip the DRM.

neither. it's a downloading service, you just go to their website and select what albums you want, click download, and they immediately download. it's awesome. i use it a ton, they have a fair amount of more obscure stuff too.

what are some programs that would strip the DRM off of the songs? i dont use ruckus because i dont have a .edu account, but i do have some songs with this that i want on my ipod

Get Tunebite. Select the songs you want to strip. What it does is it plays the DBM encoded songs, but it re-records them as it is playing them. Make sure that you don't have any other sounds running, like AIM or anything else, or else those sounds will pop up when you rerecord the sounds.

It's really easy and nice to use though. Get Tunebite, download Ruckus songs, rerecord with no other sounds playing (i.e. AIM so on and so forth). Profit.

anyone have or want to pm me the serial code? my computer wont let me get it since im on my schools network. If someone could send it to me i would greatly appriciate it!!!
