Trampolines

There is a trampoline class offered fairly near by that is supposedly specifically designed for board sports ie. skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding...

Think it'd be worth it?

Does it actually translate well to snow?

Anyone ever taken one of these classes before?

well, i don't know if paying for the class is worth it. you gotta look into who is coaching, what they really know, how cool they are, etc. as for if learning tricks on a trampoline is worth it as far as transferring the skills over to snow, most definitely. anything that gets your air awareness up is good for trying tricks on snow... what doing off axis tricks on snow really comes down to is your ability to not get lost while doing the trick and knowing where your landing is going to come from, the rest is essentially just enjoying the ride.

I took the first day of the class...It was sick...we were working on misty's and they feel almost exactly like when you throw them on the snow....

it is definitelly something u would want to do u dont just huck new flip tricks uve never tried blindly u try em on the tramp fisrt that sounds like an awesome program

Sounds like funTramps are definitely a great training tool, but be careful, it is easy to get hurt if you land incorectly or fall off

Oh, and they also have a wake board rope set up...thanks to that bitch I got my first backflip on a wakeboard...must have tried a hundred time b4 but first try after practicing on that damn tramp...
