it's a waste of time, it dosn't really even help, i thought it would be a great idea, so i put ducktape on the edges of my skis. This was when i was about 12 tho, it didn't work at all.
i tried a million different things.. there basically isnt anything unless u could make them out of fiberglass or something flexable that would snap back into place after u jump
use water skis they dont have edges but just use house siding or rather then raping ur skis in duct tape just get some of that foam stuff u put on pipes and put it on the edges
i tried it as soon as i put my tramp back up this summer... if you go nose or tail at all on anything over a foot you shoot off the trampoline uncontrollably. it was intense, lol
I just got done jumping on my tramp skis like 3 minutes ago. I duct-taped my 165cm Troublemaker edges. You can't do flips or anything, only 540s and grabs. Its really good for getting grabs down though.
i think that if you were able to make them outta some kinda flexible plastic they would be sick, we had some old 1080T's and we put old snowbaord bindings on which work good, but the skis broke after awhile you need something flexible, but solid
Vynil siding, Duct tape, Ad some old shoes will do
have 2 layers of vynil for each side then have em what ever length u want the ductape the skis then the shoes on but make sur u leave room for the shoe so u can get ur foot into it
I've had my foils ducktaped and cardboarded all summer...with double crossed springs its hard to maintain balance on the tramp but I almost landed a cork 3 yesterday.....Oh yeah and what a fucking workout! Just try not to land on your tips or tails when going inverted, I learned that the hard way
