trampoline skis

yesterday i built trampoline skis out of cardboard. i used kenex to add stiffness and durability... i topped them off with stylish green tape to hold them together and added slip on shoes as bindings... all in all they were pretty sick...

average life: 2hrs depending on construction

WOW! do you want a gold star? I should come over there and pull all your hair out.

you used kleenex to add stiffness? wtf? can you get any bounce on those things, they'd jsut bend and shit

no... i used kenex that shit that goes together and makes cool shit... why do u always have to be so negetive!

Ya Kinda like lego u know??? and we had some style and1 slip on shoes for the binding sistem

the edges would rip the tramp, and u would also have to have ski boots on wich would make it hard to jump,

just duct tape or elect tape your edges, u can use any old skis you got

Real skis suck for trampolining. They are too heavy and the skis cut your bounce about in half.

or maybe you are just a fucking pussy! and you don't know how to rig up a trapoline. Try jumping off your house on to it, you will get one good hit, just like a real kicker, you fag.

there aren't that bad, and it gives a better feel for what its like but its only good for on axis stuff. if the ski hits vertically you you sill rip up your tramp.

yeah, your def. gonna get fucked up as well if you land the slightest bit wrong...I'd hate to ruin a season before I get onto the snow.

your all wrong, the best thing to do(if you have them) is to use an old short pair of cross-country skis that you might have had as a kid or somthing, I havent done this myself but their is a sick vid clip of some kid doing a cork 7 mute like 10 off a regular tramp with cross-country skis duct taped to his feet. Go look if your intrested. www.sasfilms.com and go to the members gallery and click on the very first link on the list, once that drops down hit the link that says cork 7 mute. IS DOPE

why does that make me wrong...I use re-enforced cardboard with velcro straps that strap to my socks....it works very well indeed, and is very comfortable

soo true, soo true, circles ain't real tramps you need the rectangles

Seriously here is an idea for tramp skis that work.

You get an old set of skis that you really don't need any more. Use a file/grinder to round the edges off. If you can strip the metal edge that would be better. Then just cut out holes in the fran infront and behind the binding - leaving the binding intact. And there you have it, a pair of lightweight tramp skis with all the stiffness of a normal ski

' Why does everyone where hoodies to ski during spring when the weather is sunny and there is no need for a hood?? '

yeah, but you still wouldn't get very much bounce. it isn't the weight of the ski that lessons the bounce, it's the surface area. even with the holes cut out, your weight it still spread out instead of just at your feet, so you get no height.

Word up to all the subie owners out there!
