Trampoline C rail

I'm about to go out side and try this.. I think if I take two of the legs it will kind of work..haha maybe. the only problem is the overlap thing. Does anyone have any experience trying it? I'd appreciate it.

ya i have thought about it. i know that you couldnt do it because of the overlap but i think it would be cool is you jumped on from the side and just ride the entire circle until you get off. that would be really sweet.

well, a trampoline has a frame in the shape of an O and you can take it apart so it is in the shape of the perfect C, but the problem would be the stableness and it would be hard to grease because of the unsmooth surface

yea me and my freinds did it, made both a c and a rainbow out of it, its not bad for a backyard set up but there not that long sooo yea

ya but i dont think there is a right way to set it up i think either way you set it up there will be a spot that is higher. and there is a coating on the steel to prevent it from rusting and i think it is sticky so it would make it harder to grind

 
yeah i have thought about it several times...nice smooth c rail. seems to me it would be rough but if u slide it over the overlaps, grease it up nicely and pack in the suports it should work quite nicely compared to what you had to work with

barnyski03, how do you bend the metal into a smooth curve. I've got some metal that I want to turn into a rainbow or a c-rail. And i've got a welder and a cutting torch.

Screw saving money, I want instant gratification now!

A friend of mine has tried it, i've never seen it in person but the kid said he was able to slide it around on half of his tramp frame. It's a credible source, so as long as you support it good enough, it should work.

yup...me and my friend set one up, it is definately doable we made an s rail, s and a half rail, and a huge c rail...slid em all and it was sick!

 
make a slanted c rail its like automatically stable and sick

u could make an srail by taking the two c's and conecting them the opposite way than normal
