well, with summer/spring just around the corner, i have my trampoline back up. ok, so does anyone have sugestions on how to flip big. i cant do rodeos, i can do mistys, and front/back flips, but i cant do corks/flats/dspins either, i dont know how to get back onto my feet?? anyone got some suggestions?. problem 2- i am always afraid of jumping right off the trampoline.. anyone else had this problem? i donno what to put aroudn the dside as cussions from the frame/spring, i was thinging pillows :P.

a way not to jump off the trampoline is to jump straight up and throw the trick just after you leave the trampoline instead of starting it when you are kinda still on, i used to do this and land on the sides all the time but now i basically stay right in the middle

thanks a lot, i just learned to do that on my front flips, now i just gotta master misty's and rodeaos better.

Several times I have gone huge and fell off. It's not that bad as long as you know how to fall well. I too can do mistys and rodeos, fronts and backs, spins (duh), but no cork spins. I just learned how to d-spin though, it is fun as hell. to learn to d-spin, just think of doing a misty, but spinning a lot more before going inverted, then you will understand.

a misty is nothnig like a dspin, a mistys forword and a dspin is back, so either ur doing mistys or dspins wrong but a dpsin is not just a misty that u throw harder

corks if you throw right you will come around by yourself, all you have to do is wind up quite a bit and throw your self backwards and spin, youlll get it

 
yea I can throw misty's, rodeo's, licoln's, underflips, but I dunno about this whole corked spin, only way I could do that is if I carve off a lip (on skis ofcourse)

my friends trampoline has one of those nets around it cause he has little sisters. One of them fell into it and scraped there face across it. She had a scab on her face. It was funny.

i did a front flip right off my tramp the other day into like 6 inches of mud. so it wasnt that bad

those nets have saved my ass many a time. Its not so much flipping off the tramp, its over or under rotating a flip and landing at an angle, causing you to get shot in that direction

 
the thing about going big is truely just sucking it up and trying..... if you get hurt its too bad, but by not attempting the trick your never going to learn it

and corks, once you do them you will laugh at the fact you never could. they are so much easier than straight front flips.

1)bounce at a medium hieght

2)wind up pretty good for the spin

3)if you spin left start the spin and and reach with you right arm for your left foot

4)pick your left shoulder up high and look over it

5)tuck your knees up and keep you feet close together

6)hold it and your landing will come into perfect sight at 540

7) drop the gear and stick it

for a cork, just do a 720, thinking about going corked and grab leading hand, it will automaticly throw you off axis.

its hard to do a rodeo on a tramp, nearly impossible/ just try like mistys or flatspnis those are more forword and its a little easier

rodeos are easier then I thought. (I spin left) and I huck my right arm up and left, while hucking my left arm down and right, while doing the rotation of a backflip. thats how I do it anyways..

i learned rodeos pretty easily. just think about it this way. you do backflips at a 12 o'clock angle. all i did to figure out the rotation, was just do a backflip at about a 10 o'clock angle. just try it, and it's pretty easy to perfect from there. now i can do my rodeos up to 9.

nets rule, i get shot into mine like at least ten times a tramp session. woulda busted my ass many times without it. if you dont want a net then dig a huge hole and sink your tramp a lil bit or all the way even so if you fall off it takes that edge off of an 8 foot drop and makes it a 5.

SNOWMAN17, you are wrong, dspin is like misty in a sense, a way to learn the motions of dspin is to do 180, while droping a shoulder hard then throwing your other arm to do a misty 5, that is dspin as well, as long as you get enough off axis from your 180

they arnt like skiing at all, but heres a another tip, take some spray paint and paint an X right in the middle of of ur tramp, once u can bounce super high right on the X consistently, u should be able to do ne thing u want
