Tramp with skis

Tried searching,

it sounds crazy, but has anyone tried getting a really old pair of skis and practicing spins/flips on a trampoline?

just wondering as its kinda hard to train in the UK

i already tried and just put some ductape around you ski so you dont crap your tramp.its pretty hard to spin but you still can practise.dont try flip cause you will broke it.there a bi hole in my tramp now because of that lol

tips:dont bring your pole on the tramp

me and my friends did this yesterday,
get a plastic sled and cut out two skis with a hand saw. ductape some liners of some boots to the plastic and once you put your foot in put a peice accross the front over the tounge. ( you will have to do this each time its someone elses turn)this gives you the stiffness of a ski that will not to break, but not super heavy. the liners give you the feel of a boot as they go up you shin as a boot would but remain light. the skis will not be very big so you can flip, spin and bounce decently. make sure to tape the edge for saftey of yourself and your trampthere not the best but you can get grabs and at least pretend your skiing

just dont. It is super hard to bounce so after like five minutes of getting two feet of air you will be completely exhausted.

I found a sheet of 1/8th thick plastic and used a skill saw to cut 2 pieces173 cm long and like 15 cm wide and rounded the edges, then i took those like 1 1/2 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick like 4 foot sticks that they put in the ground to mark gas lines and ductaped em along the ski then grabbed old shoes and duct taped em on nice n tight spray painted the shit out of em and duct taped the edges. Best idea ever ! Threw down for hours way fun and didnt wreck my tramp. I left em lying around in the winter tho only to find about 1000 bugs in them during the spring so i learned my lesson.

I say make a pair out of stuff you find at home its so damn fun !

it sucks. jumping on a tramp flat footed sucks enough but then withe ski boots and skis you get like 4 feet of air and can basically do like 540's and sketchy backflips and lincolns. you never get enough air to even really do grabs.

the best thing you can do if you want to practice tricks with grabs, is get the like pipe padding stuff and some light, stiff material and basically duct tape it in the tip and tail, leaving about a foot in the middle hollow and make like an ankle sized opening for your foot. it is stiff enough not to bend in fast spins and to kind of hold grabs hard like on skis, but it is still light and your ankles can flex fully.
