cut out reg cardboard into 4 strips all equal length and width of your choosing

unbend old hangerwire into straigh lines to line the cardboard

ducktape 2 pieces together with the hangerwire on the inside and it works well i did it that way

take an old foam boogie board and cut it into ski sized pieces. duct tape some shoes on and youre good to go

just tape some of that pipe insulation foam around your edges.

thats what i did, but i never though of using an old wire hanger. I just put more strips of cardboard down the center to make them stiffer. I tied a pair of old shoes to them also.

these are made out of a foam snowboard cut in half they work really well and dont bend too much at allthey are crooked because they have grips on the bottom where the straps once were

find those signs you see on the side of the road at election time. make sure they are the plastic corrugated kind. cut the width you like with grain, the direction the hollow channels run. tape 4 or 5 layers together, (packing tape) staggering the seams, up to 100 cm works good. then tape them to a pair of sneakers.

the corrugated plastic has plenty of give and durability and wont hurt the tramp
