Tramp dubs

What is the easiest dub or dub that you're least likely to kill yourself throwing on a tramp. Any advice is also appreciated. I can't dub yet.

I would say the easiest is a dub backy even though I've never thrown one due to the scare factor. The first dub I did was dub front.

if you can legit do a flatspin then those cause there is no way if you're doing them right to land on your head for the most part.

yea dub misties are probably the safest to try actually since you don't really get fully inverted when your doing them, so most of the time if you fall, you just fall on your side and its no big deal...start by doing some misty 630s to your back. don't set any more flippy than you would a misty, just set a misty five but harder than usual. try to make the second flip a switch flat/cork 3 or 5 instead of just a back flip.

dub lincolns are similar to that. you do have to make sure you commit so you don't land on your head, but if you miss your landing a bit you'll just land on your side and be fine.

dub backflips are really easy to do once you get them, but they are the most dangerous for sure. you'd want to get some backflip to backs dialled in first. Under and over rotating backflips sucks, often resulting in you smashing your head, or shooting off the tramp.

But i don't mean to scare you out of them, all of these tricks are pretty easy once you get them, but just be careful.

dub sideflip would be easiest. You can do it like 1,5 and land on your back safely. Once you get dub sides it's super easy to make it into dub misty.

My first double was front. IMO it's one of easiest to get over head and not too scary.

I don't understand how dub lincoln is safest? My friend tried that first and side scorpioned on his neck it was hilarious but painful looking... my advice is to throw really low 1 and one quarter misty fives so you do a misty 5 and continue with the flip onto your back... get those good and fast and low and than have somebody dub bounce you well and throw it as hard as you did when you were low and you will probably get it... once you get one dub 9 you have almost all dubs 7-10 after a short amount of time if you understand how you are throwing them and how you are landing them.

No! Do not go for dub misty yet. Make sure you have your back bounces on lock (I would assume you do) and then learn misty 5s where you just keep flipping to your back...so its like a misty 5 to 1/4 backflip.

Once you have that down after you land on your back, in my instruction above, continue to do a back roll off of your back, because a dub misty 9 is essentially misty 5 to backflip. So by now you should be doing Misty 5>>Landing on Back>>Continuing to throw your feet straight back and doing a backflip>>>Landing on your feet.

Once you have that down 99% of the time you are ready for the double misty. Just set it like you would for the progression above and you should come close if not land it!

i would say either a dub front or back, what ever you are more comfortable with. Personally i would try a dub front because i feel like i can flip quicker, and tuck my head if i were to see that i was coming up short. its just preference

My first dub was an underflip to front, its pretty easy to get over the scare factor because you land on your back if you don't land it.

dub corks are the easiest I find since you're not completely going inverted.

learn cork7

learn cork7 to back

commit, fully land a dub 10

land a dub 12

do the same thing right side

when i try dub corks i cant get the second flip, i just keep spinning, but i can cork 5, 7, 9, and sometimes 10, how do i get the second cork to come around?

dub back is easiest, but scariest. dub flat is easy and safe. dub misty 9 is safe but semi hard

fùndəméntal dùbs on tramp

dub fronts

dub backs

flats and cork sevens

double unders/overs

Anyone else XXXXX on a Jumpking ?

Well, first dub I learned is misty. The easiest is definitely dub back but if you bitch out and open up on the second flip, things can get hairy. As far as safe, I'd say dub cork in my experience just because you're basically parallel to the ground the whole time if you aren't throwing them like d-spins. If you fuck up you're probably going to land on your back or side, so you shouldn't get too hurt. Dub corks definitely ain't the easiest though, especially if you're on a tramp with not a huge amount of bounce, it takes a lot more effort to get em around.

Dub lincoln is probably the first dub you should do. As long as u got good air awareness it shouldnt be that hard to learn as long as u got a bouncy enough tramp. Dub cork 10s arent that hard either. just get a massive bounce and throw it and keep tweaking it and eventually ull land it

lol fuck no. maybe the hardest. I would say lincoln or misty are the safest and i think lincoln is the easiest

To add on to the double misty. I think it's easiest to try to do a double off your knees (jump and then land on knees then go for it) because you don't get as much height so there is a less chance of injury and it helps you get the rotation speed down for when you want to try it on your feet.

-dub flat 7-dub misty

-dub cork

-dub back(due to scare factor)

aaaaaaaand i dont wanna smash my knee off my teeth so i dont do frontys.

In that order.

That would be 4 flips....unless you're being sarcastic

and to the guy asking what a kang (kangaroo) flip is, flat 3 to flat 5 (double flat 9)

The other week I tried dub lincoln and shot 10 feet off the trampoline and over the pads, luckily I bounced off some shoes which saved my tailbone but my heels got wrecked hitting the ground. Dub lincolns just arent my thing I guess. And the worst thing about it was that I thought I was doing it perfectly until I heard everyone around the tramp gasping.

Dub misty 9 is essentially misty 5 to backflip, i find it the easiest dub to visualize / bring around to my feet.

dub flat 7. Practice it by rotating to your back for 1.5 of the rotation, then eventually man up and set it harder and stomp it.
