Tramdock & SAC Shipping Duties

Has anyone bought a pair of skis from SAC or Tramdock? I am warry of UPS because they seem to always charge an outragous brokerage fee, and SAC/Tramdock only offer UPS, adding that to the sales tax, the great deals seem far less great.

So anyone with any experience buying from them? Were the charges for Duties/Brokerage reasonable when they arrived at your door?

SAC shipping to canada has always includes tarrif fees when shipping stuff...super legit to buy from.

Okay because I got a reply to my e-mail from tramdock saying I could still encure some customs charges.

"With the UPS Standard the tariff charges are going to be included. That is the only shipping method that we offer where Tariff chargers are included. The order is still subject to customs charges and VAT taxes."

But if Tariff is the only charge and it is included in the shipping, those deals do seem pretty good. I'll keep my eye open for some Anthems or ScratchBC's.

Did you guys order skis from them?

I order from those sites all the time with the tarrif included shipping method (slow but cheap) and have never had any extra charges.

I bought a pair of skis off evo and they didnt have the tariff included shipping. I think i paid like $40 bucks on duties.

Select the country as Canada, and wait a couple seconds, the page will update and show the Tariff included shipping option.

Paying $40 for shipping is about the normal price over eBay, so having the tariff included is great. it will take about 7-8 business days for you to get your stuff thou. But at this time of year there is no rush

Worst for me was $180 on records from the UK.

Fedex got it here OVERNIGHT from Europe, but it cost tons.
