Many of you know that the ski category used to live on Steepandcheap.com, and that's where it will return.
Not the Backcountry.com official standpoint, but in my opinion it is likely that the weakening economy caused ski manufacturers to cut back production which causes there to be less products left over in excess at the start of the next season.

"Tramdock was too niche, didn't make enough money consistently for the site to make sense financially. The ski stuff will still be featured, just not dedicated."
