yeh i worked for them, and my roomate still does. they like what kids are doing and are tryign to support it. yeh itll help sales but its a pretty damn sick way of doing it.
 
Yeah, I work there and it's such a chill company. Right now they're just stoked on the grassroots support and seeing where it takes them. From what I know they want to make the site more of a newschoolers environment where you can watch edits and shop around. Just a few extra pages that will get the younger park crowd to the site.
 
they're helping out so many sick smaller film companies. and they're getting their name out there there's been lots of kid's asking what tramdock is, now they know
 
they offered to make stickers? damn. Hungry Sloth Productions gets $100 every 5,000 collective web hits.
 
tramdocks sponsoring everyoine eh? do we just send them a vid and theyll say if they will pick us up or simething?
 
yeh that would probably work, i know theyve been just contacting people. but yeh i think the 5000 thing wors for everyone basically
 
its cool how they're sponsoring the promising up and coming film companies, but I hope it doesnt get to the point where some kids with a handy cam makes vids in windows movie maker on their spare time, and get sponsored by them.
 
why not? its not like it would hurt other people. i think they just want to sponce neone
 
i can see threads being started over the next few weeks something along the lines of:

"How do i get spancorzioriead by tramdock..?"
 
well I think it would derive from the impression of tramdock.

for example, if every kid who could do a 3 were suddenly on Armada's pro team, it would be bunk because all the team members would feel less special or accomplished because anybody could do it.
 
yeh but the whole point of their marketing with this is its grassroots. so i think they really want to just help out anyone they can and get as involved as possible. i used to work for them and its seriously the coolest company ever. i liked going to work. yeh wierd right
 
So this is when all us nice little Newschoolers give there sponsered kids webhits so they can make money and give us higher quality vids .. Right?
 
hey i dont wanna start a new thread but if i was really interested in getting sponsored by tramdock wat would ppl reccomend doing, i dont necessarily wanna send an email to the company but im gonna be making a whole bunch of edits for my crew this season so i'd be really siked if we could get a company like tramdock to support us with it
 
naw nothing to do with the discounts, i could honestly care less about that - i just think it would be sick to have a company like tramdock sponsor us for the edits we're making
 
?well then whats the difference tramdock "sponsers" u by giving u a discount/ gear u make edits n pop their logo in n rep them- if u dont want the discount whats the point u wana logo in the beginning of ur edit?
 
i think it would be pretty tight to have a company supporting our edits, alot of ppl here on ns might make a small ittle edit every once it a while and post it, were gonna try to film alot this season and it would be cool to have tramdock backing us up and supporring us for what were making,
with tramdocks help and sponsorship our edits could gain more popularity and we could possibly grow into a small film company - thats of course a long ways in the future, but tramdocks support is a start and its something that everyone in our crew would be really grateful for
 
I work for them as well. Tramdock.com is an extension of Backcountry.com, and i would be stoked to be sponcered by this company. Ive only worked here 3 weeks and it amazing how into the industry these websites are.
