Traded a bong for an iPad Mini... What do I do with this thing?

So long story short I traded my spare Sheldon Black beaker for a 16GB iPad mini. I don't really know if I have any use for the thing but I have a nicer tube so I definitely didn't need or any longer want the bong.

So my question is basically this; what the fuck do I do with this thing? I'm a college student, is there some awesome note pad and/or pdf/doc/ppt viewer I can use in class and should I start buying digital copies of my books? I hate regular notepads but usually end up following my lecture powerpoints on my phone (S3). Is it worth it to keep this thing, or should I sell it? Looks like I could easily get 300+ for it. (it's brand new + otter box)

Second question, if I do keep it, what are some must have apps and what should I do with the damn thing? I've always been a droid guy so this itunes iOS shit is new and seems kinda lame.

An electronic, multipurpose bong that you can shred while surfing on americas favorite non-biased news network, FOX.
 
you'll find that droid os is much better for customizability. and function.

ipad is cool for browsing the internet, games, and multimedia.

note applications are cool, you can view powerpoints and write/type out notes with a stylus.

that's a good deal for an ipad mini, but you could easily sell it for top dollar too. more than 3hundo probably
 
If you want a nate taking app, get notes plus. Its $8, but totally worth it. I have it on my ipad and i can write, type and draw, and it works with dropbox so i can view them on my computer
 
get Stratosphere. Its a my buddies game that he spent two years making and just got featured in the App store when it was released on Thursday.

The sheldon was a 20" 5.5mil beaker with a 29mil tank joint, 6 arm diffused downstem and a flo slide.

My newer tube is the ZOB stemless piece with a zobella perc and a 6 arm diffused downstem precooler/ashcatcher. I needed something smaller and easier to clear because my idea of ideal smoking includes being able to gracefully clear a rip, not suck like a god damn shop-vac til your lungs explode. It milks and clears effortlessly and the zobella perc is nicer than i expected. It's also dank because all my heady slides are 18.8 mil and it's an 18.8 stemless so it takes all those slides as well as the precooler/ashcatcher.
 
Looks like you use it for flower, no oil in your area? Ive heard great things about the zobella for dabbin
 
It's been used more with flower, but I have a male to male adapter, ti nail, and dome for when I get oil.

bud is free to me though so it's usually flower, but it's a great dabber as well, clears easily even without removing the precooler.
 
I didn't smoke it after buying the zob, it's really that much better...

as far as looks, I like the sheldon a lot more. It has really nice art along with the large joint size, but it was just too much volume and too harsh.

just joshin... but damn.. seems like you got an awesome deal (even if it was a fancy and expensive super glass bong). I don't know if you can get this for the mini.. but this kid in my german class has a little attachable keyboard case thingy.. it's fucking awesome.. he can take notes with it and it folds into a nice display stand. looks awesome.. also you don't have to buy digital versions of your text book to have them on your tablet.. most universities have databases where digital copies of your book are stored (only in html so you can't download..) but still.. so nice to have in class when you don't want to carry your book. Also.. it is pretty easy to find free downloadable copies of text books online as well.. i found a digital download of my 1200 page accounting book that weighed like 5 kilos and cost 100 euro... that was a lifesaver!

get an app that you can make beats with. thats pretty entertaining
 
Yah plus 20.5" would be too big for me, especially with only 5mm glass I think you said, seems like a recipe for breaking, at least in my house.

I would love to try out something like that Zob though seems really rad and ive never hit something like it before.

The iOS 6.1 jailbreak came out yesterday, install tweaks like quasar (run multiple apps at once), nitrous (all apps that use JavaScript run at the same speed as safari) and many many more
 
i find ipads real useful for class, don't have to carry a comp around and you can pull up readings and ppts and shit when you need to.

I think you did the right thing.

I'd take 300 over something I don't use, you look like a huge stoner having extra bongs chilling.

I like that new peice you have where you pick something like that up and how much?
 
I got it at my local head shop, it's a new place that just opened up and has a bunch of really nice high end stuff. It was 300 flat and you can find the same one on aqualabs for the same price.
 
So I got an iPad this year. My dad got 4 for free and gave one to each kid. While I'm not a fan of the apple os for phones(S3 all the way) I use my iPad mainly for organization stuff. It has really helped with that. I synced my school calendar to it, have a note taking app that I use to record lectures as I write in my notebook, and have some organization apps that I pretty much use as a planner, homework, appointments, activities, all that jazz in there. It's not all it's hyped up to be in my opinion and I would never pay like 700-800 dollars for one, but they are handy for some stuff if you get it cheap or free.
