triple jump- 26 feet

long jump-15 feet

Also anyone try Pole vault really want to try it this season but not sure about it.

I started taking lessons at MIT for pole vaulting, so far I like it. Ill probably will start doing it during meets in a couple weeks.

Can't imagine how you do this. This is my first season doing track and today i tried high jump for the first time. I got 5' 3" which is basically me claiming right there. But i didn't use the right jumping technique where you arch your back and all cause thats hard as fuck, the coach was saying if i learn it that'd be better but it seems like a struggle. I guess some kid that graduated last year could get like 6' 1-3" it just seems wild in my mind.

I had a teammate that could jump over himself... 6'6" Didnt come to practice all season because he was a douche and thought he was the shit, fucked up in districts. Didnt make states. He also Ran a sub 11.1 in the 100m. Fucked up in Districts (he should have gotten gold), didnt make states. He was on our 4x100 team too, we won districts no contest, were a contender for state gold, we were winning until the last leg which this kid ran, he got blown away by the the second place teams last leg.

That sort of blossomed into a story about why I hate that kid, but Bottom line: He could jump really high.

Moral of the story: I dont care how fucking good you think you are go to practice. Done cheat your teammates out of a state/district title (or gold medal if youre on a relay team).

Also triple post, went to nationals in south Carolina, the blackest kids I have ever seen were there, and I couldn't understand a word of English they were saying. Our team got crushed I don't think I ever lost anything by the amount I lost that day.

I didn't do any jumping events but I pole vaulted in hs. It was honestly one of the most fun things I've ever done and is one of the only things I truly miss about hs. I was jumping for 14' 3" when I blew my knee out senior year. Moral of the story, if you have the opportunity, definitely get into vaulting.

Mile - 5:17

Long Jump - 18'3"

High Jump - 5'8" (first time ever doing it)

Then I quit track because it's the worst

I did steeple chase in grade 11. my pb was 6:42 I think. I actually liked it a lot but I couldn't do it in grade 12 cause I had blown my knee over the winter
