my buddy pain mcschlonkey and i decided to go celebrate the wrenegades getting mounted by slaying the suburbs.
notice how the sharpie line for midsole avoids the need to post a whiny "shop tech couldn't read my mind" thread:
mcschlonkey was really worried about the unconsolidated snowpack and dug a pit to check conditions:
then he teed up a sick line thats right up there with any classic gundersun baker photo
i got a quick hit in before mcschlonkey took another lap. the wrens held up perfectly.
mcschlonkey wussing out with a speed check turn before the air:
the park crew hadn't gotten to work digging out the features so we went to test the turning radius of the wrens. scott had estimated a 30 meter turning radius. my field test turn was one sandbox wide:
next it was time for a few runs thru the glades. to test the turning radius in an area with higher consequences:
the park crew was barely getting things undercovered by now and mcschlonkey really wanted to take the rocketships on a roof-to-streetlight tap:
but his BSL was a bit too small to fit in the bindings:
so we had to take the long shuffle home since the owner was too lazy to install a rope tow:
