went back to mirrow lake hwy again yesterday hoping to session a rail, instead this line popped

out at us. the line is the continuous thin couloir left of center in the photo on

hayden peak.

ended up setting up camp under the line to assure quality skiing in the morning.

the storms seemed to have no beef with us today.

steep carve-able corn

epic mid couloir straightline, shot is from where the hiker is going through the choke in an earlier photo.

nice turns still out the bottom, tear down camp, leave no trace. we will be back for more someday.

I want to spend 95% of my season in the Uintas next winter. Looks like an epic time, and props on getting some late, late, late season turns.

Uintas are rumored to have horrifying weather, lethal avalanches, and obviously the fact that they are in the middle of nowhere doesnt help the approach. but it wouldl be an epic place to visit in the winter if your navagation/winter camping/avalanche/sledneck skills are tip top.

i was up there this past sunday at murdock mtn...going back to ski agassiz and bald this weekend, gonna be sick
