Towel Rack ripped out of wall

My friend accidentally ripped the towel rack out of the wall at the house i'm watching. The screw stripped the wall in a line and definitely needs fixing. What's the best and cheapest way to fix this so it is unnoticeable? Thanks +k
 
find someone that knows how to fix drywall quickly lol or else you'll have to figure it out yourself
 
i think it's windex you're thinking about.

just put the towel rack back on where it was except drill the holes right beside the old ones
 
Fill the holes with plaster, wait for it to dry, re drill holes and install, Are you actually that useless?
 
pics or it didn't happen and right now I'm thinking drywall screws... but in all honesty hard to say how to fix something if we cant exactly see the damage done

You're a man or maybe a bitch ass 13 year old, anyways you should know how to screw a towel rack into a wall retard.
 
yup, go to home depot, pick up some dry wall putty for a few bucks and these bad boys..

take less than a spoonfull of dry wall powder stuff, and sprinkle a LITTLE BIT of water. you do not need a lot at all. mix er up, use a putty knife to apply it, you can leave it chunky on there, just make sure it gets in the hole and covers it.

use a blow dryer to dry it fast. sand over it lightly until smooth. vaccuum at the same time to catch all the dust.

then use the picture above and yer set.

if you're just worried about the wall, get some white painters tape, wood filler, and paint that matches the color of the wall. fill the hole with wood filler, or sheet rocking mud. then once it's dry, put the tape over it and paint the tape. it'll make it completely not noticeable unless they're really looking for it.
 
without seeing exactly what you're working with, OP, this would be what I would suggest. Just make sure you get an anchor that is large enough to fill the recently stripped out hole.

but if you're completely broke (like me), get some matchsticks/ tooth picks and wood glue to fill the hole and redrill it.
 
- putty up the hole so the wall is completely flush and flat. let dry

- paint said spot with matching color.

- get a drywall anchor like the corkscrew in one above a few posts.

- mount towel rack on the into the anchored holes.

- profit?
