Touring binding/skins suggestions

So recently, I got tired of bootpacking. And Im looking to get some touring bindings and some skins for the remainder of this season and for a few seasons to come. Looking for something in the 14-16 range and my current choice for a binding is the Marker Dukes. If you got any other bindings out into that I should look into, post up. No, Im not interested in AT's.

Also, I need some skins for some 183 SFB's. Got any 2 cents on that, help would be appreciated.

Your only touring option with a din that high right now is the duke.

There is supposed to be a new sally binding coming out that should be an improvement on the duke, so might be best to wait for that.

Skins - BD ascensions with the STS tail.

Not sure. I know right now they are definitely still in the testing phase so don't know if they will get released for next season.

You could always go with a MFD alltime or trekkers too.

Sia is this weekend so if they do have something for next year we'll be hearing about it then

Before I advise, DO NOT GO IN THE BACKCOUNTRY IF YOU DONT NOT HAVE THE PROPER KNOWLEDGE AND EQUIPMENT, IT IS DANGEROUS AND CAN BE DEADLY TO EVEN EXPRETS

/caps lock

moving on, dukes are the highest din/burliest AT binders out there, and it looks like what you're going for. They will be heavy, but good for in and out of bounds/slackcountry

for skins i'd say whatever you can get the best deal on between black diamond ascensions, G3, or BCA

they are all pretty good, personally i like the ascensions

MFD Alltimes might be a good option for you so you can use what ever binding you want but it looks a lil weird to trek in but if Sage Cattabriga-Alosa uses them then they must be pretty fucking bomber.

I've been out of bounds before, but like I said, I'm tired of bootpacking. I have some avi knowledge and am able to test conditions. I say dukes because barons are too small. Im type 3, 6', 200lbs. So I think dukes or something similar to that.

as for alltimes, they're just extra weight to a regular binding. and they drill into the ski anyway so it's pretty much pointless.

Hint: don't ever refer to your ability in relation to a number. Moving forward, get the duke if you don't go on long tours, since they are heavy. Conversly, a light at binding like the fritschi FR sucks for inbounds skiing and durability.

MFD alltimes for sure, the dukes like all at bindings sit much high off of the ski than alpine bindings do, which i personally cant stand. And i would bet that a pair of mfds with jesters would be lighter and stronger than dukes too. Supposedly look/rossi are making a touring system with their pivot binding next year, but i havent seen pictures yet...those will be sick if they do make them, no doubting the strength of good ol p18s...just might be a bit heavy
