wow i love listening to a bunch of uneducated skiers talking about the tour de france. i have more tolerence for the people who just say "yeah lance is the shit and is going to win" than for the people who try to pretend like they have been following the tour all their lives but all they can spit out is "yeah well i personaly believe that lance will pull through in the mountains" then go on to tell everyone else that they're wrong while in fact the only information that they have about the tour is either from their dads new york times or a watered down report on blood doping that they read in news week. so ya keep folowing the tour but dont spit out the quote that you heard on fox last night

I think its sorta true, nothing happends the first week, and the last week or two, the winner is already set. There are more exciting cycling races that come down to the wire.

after the 1 day of rest, lance finished in second place on a mountain stage to either a spanish/italian guy i think, but he regained the yellow jersey after finished a lot better that the other top riders

all you guys who are saying that Lance sucks because he has a team to help him really know nothing about biking. road biking is a team sport and alot about strategy. every single team has the same objective keep their prize bulls rested for the end of the race. thats when they brake away with the other Team leaders and duke it out to the finish line. brake away too soon you tire out and get quickly overtaken brake too late and you wont be able to catch up.

Lance and his whole team are very good at this.

plus of course having the most technology helps.

There are fewer mountian stages this year and they are shorter with a much longer downhill afterwards. Lance has his work cut out for him because any lead he gains in the mountainscan be made up really fast on the downhill.
