i'd have to say at Cannon under the main gondola. The trail has been closed for years but a lot of people ahve asked them to re-open it. its insane.

I ski at whiteface and gore. Theyre not really that tough unless someone can tell me a trail thats tough on either of them. I heard that Sugarloaf has the steepest trail in teh northeast but idk.

 
haha whoever said mt creek well we did have someone die there on our only double black-i mean its rivals any chute on the east coast cuz of how freakin steep it is but its like 700ft long haha, and mt creek on crowded saturday on pres's week is insane-im calling highest pop. density on any mt in the united states simply cause new york city is there and the high pop. of northern jersey and not to mention the peeps coming from pa even phila. I mean if you get there after 9am on a weekend you lookin at 30min -45min backup of cars just gettin to the mt.

yea ski roundtop only cuz its so small but has more people trying to ski on one slope than on an entire mountain anywhere else

well.. i know backcountry the sickest sickest thing i have ever ski'd is on rt. 302 in NH between attitash and bretton woods almost in crawfords notch. there are 5 run off chutes. ive only skid one and it was tight as hell, when i do it again this year ill get some footage of it. definatley fucking gnarly

^cause it's exposed rocks in between icy moguls and 35 degrees steep and trees and cliffs after exposed boulders and absolutely no soft sno, etc... I could go on

By far the most terrifying skiing in new england is Tucks between The Chute and The Lip, headwall cornices get up to 58 degrees, I've skied it every spring for 5 years and willl continue, the hike up is ridiculous, and when you get there your legs are already destroyed

Jay and stowe are really close they both have really steep shit that has trees real close together. I would have to give it to jay though just because the powder is amazing

stowe and jay i'd say. jay is just all around good, and if u hike, stowe can also be sick. though whitefaces chutes can also pose a challenge, if they ever open them

cannon has tramline and kinsman glade, as well as having mardi gras on mittersil, couple with the whole backside, i think tramline is over 50 degrees

vertigo is the steepest bump run at killington. outer limits just gets that label so all the joeys can claim heavily after they slide down it on their asses.

killington's fusion zones don't compare with some of the shit at jay, except maybe julio. devils fiddle usually has some fun cliffs to huck.

jay peak has some pretty hairy shit though. namely the face chutes.

When i took earth science i learned about like some angle of a hill where everything just slides down cause the angle was too high (like sand in an hourglass doesnt just stack on top of eachother, it kind of forms a hill). And i dont think it was above 45 degrees, so how is it possible to have a 50 degree slope with snow on it to be able to ski on?

 
its 65..The Rumore at gore is steeper than Lower Ovation by about 0 degrees..ovation isnt hard at all untill all the snow gets scrapped off and its pure ice-then it hard

the glades between vertige and zig zag at tremblant are insane. and when those two runs are filled with bumps, theyre pretty gnarly too.

and on the north side, dynamite is craziness...

hiking way off of the gondola in jay and doing all the shoots right from the top of the rock you can walk along is the toughest ive skied, but ive never been to Mad River

dude snow sticks becasue of its crystalline structure. this helps it stack. sand has a much more cubic shape so and doesnt pack nearly as well. Tuckermans is like 55? i think but look at stuff in movies thats so gnarly. snow holds

^^^ dynamite isnt too bad... its just the little cliff part... but when theres actually snow its easy to ski... blow hole at whistler is fuckin gnarly as hell i looked over the side and i was like SHIIIIT and it was PURE ice
