Probably one of the best hardcore punk bands I've heard in a very long time, but don't take it from me. Listen to this shit guize.

Kinda wish his voice wasn't so monotonous, but otherwise not bad. I understand he's just yelling, but couldn't he at least try to change the pitch to make it sound more melodic? Lol.
 
lol I hear ya. I guess what they're trying to go back to is the original hardcore punk, though I can't say I know many hardcore/metalcore/whatever bands where the singer has the ability to change the pitch of their scream.

this.... it's like they're so close to sounding really good (IMO) and all they need is somebody who can sing between the screaming sections to give that melodic metal feel. that's the only thing missing, otherwise i like it
 
cool! Never seen touché amour live, would love to though.

I saw Pianos become the teeth a while back and that was one of the better hc gigs I've been to. Full of Hell was great as well.

haha fuck I wasnt done, anyway Basement and Title Fight are two more "poppy" bands you guys should check out to. Sorry for going ot.
 
TUI is straight hardcore, different genres. i love them and can suggest a ton of bands if thats what youre into, TA isnt as good as la dispute i dont think, especially live. Ive toured with la dispute so i guess that makes me biased
 
Suprised to see this thread on NS. TA's newest record is awesome.

@ DallasC both of those were sick. Maybe some of you like commander venus? Not exactly the same genre. I was gonna embed the song dress to please but I can't find a youtube video of it.
 
I have the Deluxe First Press of LD's Wildlife as well as the first pressing of Somewhere at the Bottom...., and the first press of the Split with TA :D
 
I said hardcore punk, which they most definitely are. They obviously don't hold a candle to Minor Threat or Bad Brains though ahah
 
I saw Kingdom a few weeks ago, their singer is one of the most badass people I've ever met, super chill and down to earth girl and fucking brutal live

Pythoness: about a girl who starts tracking down rapists and beats the shit out of them

 
fuck touche amore. theres some significantly better modern hardcore bands imo. something about them is just unbearable to me
