While cleaning out my desk the other day, I came across some old supplies I used to use in middle school. It led me to a great idea that's not only cheap, but works quite well, here's how it goes:

1. Get any old book cover ($1 at Wally's) preferably a large or jumbo size (depending on how tight you want it)

2. Cut off one end (right at base) to create head hole to slip in

3. Slip onto head. Although this looks goofy at first, it still creates a great tight layer that covers every part of the head except for the eyes

4. Put on helmet and goggles and enjoy. It becomes a nice breathable layer that still keeps the wind out. Not only this.... but it's basically free. You just cant beat that.

have fun

it won't keep you crazy warm but it will keep you from getting wind whipped as shit on a cold day.

oh ya, forgot to mention one of the best parts. it may not keep you 'crazy warm', but it doesn't get iced over and wet like other bandanas and gators do. that's what kinda makes it nice

if you put newspapers under your sweater it'll shield you from the wind, like a windstopper !

haha, i know a kid who actually did this, same exact book cover also, back in the day like 7 years ago when those things were popular. EVeryone just looked at him like a fool though because covering your face back then was for herbs.
