Totally lost need help!

ok so i ordered a gh2 last night. Im a verry excited. But... I have been surfing the web for hours apon hours trying to find the right lens. Any recommendations? I am on the hunt for a wide angle and a sharp fast lens in the 30-50mm range. I have been looking at some on canon fds or old nikkors. But also i have checked out some lenses like the rokinon 35mm or the sigma 30mm. I could really use your guyses help.

Don't hold me on this, but I'm pretty sure people recommend the panny 7-14 f4, and I know i've seen people say that the tokina 11-16 works well with a gh2(for wide angles you really have to buy something modern unfortunately(just because of the 2x crop and they didn't make lenses wider than ~17 for full frame cameras in the past(and they're all pretty expensive)). I'm not going to comment on anything else as somebody better will come along.
 
How wide do you want it? 30-35mm on the GH2 isn't really considered wide at all considering its 2x crop. If you want a UWA (ultra wide angle), then defiantly get the tokina 11-16 f/2.8 or panasonic 7-14 f/4 mentioned above. A 28mm or 35mm would be pretty fun IMO to shoot on with the GH2. Rokinon 35mm will be the best bang for your buck. Another option, get FD primes. They are cheap, fun, and very very sharp.
 
Ya i was looking for an ultra wide angle and then a lens in the 30-50mm range. I am looking to get to. But how would the shrapness of the fd primes compare to the rokinon?
 
check out the m43 glass thread I made, I'm hoping to get more samples soon. As far as wide angles, everyone either uses the olympus 12mm, the tokina 11-16 (nikon mount), and the 7-14 is very good, but slightly less common. Also, the rokinon fisheye is great, I just got one and I love it. As far as 35mm, the samyang/rokinon have great reviews, and there are many other options as well, it all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. The samyang/rokinon or maybe a nikon would probably match a modern uwa the best, but there are other cool options like the mir 1b
