Don't you ever laugh at other people when they fall? Getting the wind knocked out of you isn't uncommon, and it's not dangerous. It's obvious when someone does, too, with them hunched-over and short breaths. If someone takes a big fall and it's clear they're not injured, I'm definitely going to laugh.
