Searched it and nothing came up. This is the next in the series of him making fun of different aspects of winter fun
 
Beat me to to posting this. I chuckled. Especially at the "snowboarding is so gay" part and when hes bombing that hill at the end.
 
it's pretty fucking hard. I took some laps last year. Raced some fools down the mountain on ice. Those things are straight dangerous.

Can skiers seriously just switch between those no problem? They were so short and unstable

i just gotta say, tom wallisch is a better snowboarder than he is a snowblader.

just putting that out there, and for reference, i checked my mouth and tom wallisch's genitals are not there.
 
yeah theyre pretty easy to switch between. though if i did it now i'd probably find myself relying on tail length that isnt there and fall on my ass. but what they lack in landing ability/stability they more than make up for in ease of use, i mean it's like rollerblading on snow

not hating on torstein, you'd just think that if the guy can do triples and whatnot he could hit a jump bigger than 2 feet and hit a rail on blades haha

 
I'm sure if he could make it to the jump clean he could throw a nice flip, probably not land but throw something cool.

The fact that your feet are separated and riding on 6 inch mini skis down ice makes it kind of hard to control. You can't lean any direction or you die. The landing part is a joke. I think those things were built to kill people.

It'd be sweet to see torstein on some twin tips with some balance. See what happens if he got onto some rails or caught a little air

I remember when it was snowboard parks, the random skiers, and then the trick skier. At lab, one of my cousins buddies was hitting the 40 footer throwing misties until he broke his leg. I though it was awesome then, now having ridden those things i respect people who can throw down on them so much more.

Whats the skier guy that made the skiblade edit, heinrick or something?
 
oh no doubt after a bit of practice some new stuff would be possible, but I think a lot of what's so funny is how much of a gaper he is, which goes along with the "snowboarding's so gay" and all.

That song has been stuck in my head this whole day. but agreed, Torstein is up there on the favorites. Any rider who can get out there and have fun while being funny and ripping hard makes it on the top list

I don't wanna get into a huge argument about this, and I don't snowboard, but I don't get how it's a cork when it's completely inverted.
 
Hahaha I like how when he says shit about snowboarding the kids dont even realize who the fuck just said that. LOL
 
because snowboarders arent as painfully obsessed with splitting hairs between tricks like skiers inexplicably are
 
is it wierd that the most interesting part about that to me is that he spoke english...and didnt have an accent?
 
not to add to this arguement and im sure most of you could careless but i snowboard too and its a trip cork not a rodeo but i dont really care about aruging about tricks its sick none the less
