Torrents not downloading on my mac?

so i recently got my first mac computer, and i cannot download torrents for some reason. ive tried utorrent, transmission, and bittorrent, and they all dont work.

ive googled this problem and most of it is saying that there its something to do with a firewall or a router port shit.. but i downloaded torrents on a pc with the same wireless internet connection before..

help?

did you try vuze thats what i use.? and i get all of them

utorrent worked on my pc computer, i dont get why its not working now

Did you download the mac version? If you did then can be more specific about why its not downloading? Like Individual torrents arent downloading? They arent opening?

yea I did. those programs installed fine. but on transmission they just don't even show up to download, and on utorrent when I go to download something it says the file size is 0 no matter what I download, so then it doesn't download anything
