Alrighty folks I know it's only September 17th but the show's coming up pretty damn quick!

For the "Freeride Theater" this year we're showing:

Lost and Found - TGR

Enjoy - Rage

Real Time - Level 1

PNW - Theory-3

Off the Grid - Warren Miller

Lines - Billabong (snowboard)

For Right Or Wrong - Burton (snowboard)

Come check it out! Good times will be had by all and there is a little 19+ party in the works for the Friday night as usual (gonna be 1000000X better than last year for those that went!)!

fuck all i did was give my input on which ones to show and do the write-ups on the show website. you can'r expect me to decide on show times too

 
because A) i was limited to what producers i could show, B) i don't support skiing without poles C) you are still going to buy it based on hype alone!

and btw, i believe it was Enjoy that won ski movie of the year

 
I'm making my way down from Sudbury. Do you think I'll find a jacket and a pair of cheep pow skis? Ive never been to one.

not really

but in all honesty, there's no reason to play a movie like that. people are going to buy it whether we show it or not. why show a movie to people that is going to sell regardless if people get a chance to see it or not. why not push one of the lesser known titles like PNW, Real Time or Enjoy? it makes more sense

 
wow, worst movie line up for a premiere i think i've ever seen, i think if i went i'd just fall asleep.
 
he is playing fantastic movies, just lesser known ones, im buying idea, and real time, but i dont know about PNW or enjoy yet, so it makes sense to show those movies.
 
i know ull find a jacket for dirt cheap, i got a orage masters jacket last year (05-06 model) for $120, reg price some like 470. and there are always lots of skiss there for good package deals, but can't guarntee you will find the exact pairs you want.
 
lol, shit why didn't you tell me. I dunno if your going to find a good deal there, but i can ask around for some ski swaps for ya.
 
Yeah, essentially Rob your logic is kinda whack. You want to show lesser knowns but you're showing a Warren Miller flick? Just give people what they want to see. We want to watch IDEA.
 
people over 30 want nothing to do with it. and warren miller movies are sick sometimes. or have sick parts anyway, even if its not all skiing
 
I will be there.. yet again... dont know what I am shopping for other then really looking forward to the party!!! my girls and I are hoping to do it up in style this year!
 
Well Dan, there are other administrative reasons behind this that I will not go into because they should not general knowledge.

If everyone wants to watch Idea, come by the booth and I will be more than happy to sell it to them.

 
are u dumb. i have watched idea about 6 times in the last 2 days. including all bonus's and directors commentary. and one of those times...i was watchin it my buddies house...his dad walked by...and was like like "what the heck??? are those guys skiing down that mountain backwards???" he then proceeded to sit down and watch the remainder of the movie with us.
 
i think its kinda shitty how your not showing what everyone wants to see, partially based on personal opinion. You are not the guy apparently to be choosing the movies. If you showed IDEA i bet you would have the most viewers then anything else, including warren miller (if you think thats what everyone over 30 wants to watch).
 
Who is going to be giving me free shit though, thats the right question to be asking here.

thought i'd have some fun but it turns out everyone is pretty pissed that they're not getting to see what they want even though it is free.

 
that was a round trip, and the grey hound is the same price..

AND its right inbetween our mid terms ryan so im out for sure.
