I don't know much about carving skis, what are some to look out for at the swap upstairs?

it depends on what you want in a carving ski, just get there early, all of the really good priced stuff will be gone. can't go wrong with a good pair of dynastars.

the best sort of skis for parabolics are racing skis because they are stiff and perform the highest..so if u can handle a mature ski then go for rossi 9x or atomic race, but those get pricey...brands to not buy -> ELAN..please god don't buy elan even though they look pro and like...cheap crap things. Rossi, Atomic, Dynastar, Salomon and dynastar...i think the new heads are good but the old ones were kinda crap.

Also we should all seriously think of opening an NS both...it would take some organization and some calling around and obviously harvey needs to be in charge..but if not this year then maybe next year too..its never too early to start planning..making posters and such but it'd be really really good publicity.Ideas--> justa little canopy with a internet hookup but yeah i'm not gonna list a lot cause harvery need to do all thsi crap..that's my rant peace

Yep, an NS booth is in the works but it's incredibly expensive. We're definately working on it and I'll let you guys know as soon as I do.

Hey guys, I'm working the Corbett's booth at the show. Easily one of the biggest booths and also probably the most twintips anywhere. We always have at least one crazy deal on twins, that you'd be stupid not to buy. So check us out. Also to clarify what CK said, we have redbull from time to time but cant distribute at the TO show because the costs to be a vendor of food is extra. If this Ns booth idea goes through I'll see what I can do to hook it up with some redbull, it'll haveto be kept on the dl tho.

 
setting up a booth isn't the problem, buying floor space is rediculusly expensive, more people walk through the ski show than there are NS members.

corbetts is so sick, i know so many guys that are going to be buying last years scratches from corbets. last year i picked up dynastar candides with look p10 bindings for only 450. so, 'Almost' do you know how much the scratch's are going to be.

100 eh...sounds a lil low ball to me. last year i got the blue 1260's ( the year be that) model with S810 Ti bindings for 400

Shane. Ya we will have tons of cheap outerwear, but if you're looking for something with style you'll haveto check out the snowboard side cuz all the cool freeride ski shit sells out. All thats left will be like Descent and North Face etc.

Hey guys, just a little update: There won't be an NS booth at the show this year because it's way out of our price range (and anyone else's that we tried to partner up with). Nonetheless, Harvey and I will be there keepin' it real, just look for harvey's large hair.

I think there's a 2track premiere that weekend in Toronto so everyone should come to that too.

Just an update for those who were asking. Last years Scratches will be for around 325. We just got a closeout on Last years concepts, they'll go for about 299. Basically look for most twintips from last year to be aorund 300 bucks, and others to be priced aggressively. I got the word from my manager Rob today that he wants to make sure we dominate twintip sales at the show. This means good deals to be had for you guys.

I think that while and NS booth is a great idea it should be member sponsored, and those who contribute get a say in what goes on. while co-ordinating is hard as hell it could work and be super cool!
