177 no brainer. Vishnus are light and got insane rocker so you should have no problem especially if you’re growing

With longer vs shorter skis there's a tradeoff - longer skis are more stable and look better imo while shorter skis have less swing weight and are more maneuverable. The important thing to consider is that vishnus are generally very light, especially the wets. They also have less effective edge which makes them feel shorter than they are. With all that in mind, you should definitely size up relative to whatever skis you were riding before. Even if they feel weird at first, just go skiing and try not to be too conscious of the differences. In no time they'll feel great, even if the length takes some getting used to at first.

Go for 171 if you arent sure you want a super long ski. 12 cm over your head for a park ski is crazy, especially when you are still not insanely experienced. Go for 171, its 6cm over your head. Still long, but not that long so it drags on switch ups and spins.

I had a friend who was also on 164cm bdogs, about 5'6ish, and he ended up getting 180 keys, a ski that will feel MUCH longer than wets since they're rockered much less, and he loved them. you wont regret getting 177s.

Both will work, 177 will defo be more stable for jumps but you loose the snappyness of them while 171 will be less stable on jumps but super fun to jib!
both 177 and 171 will work hands down, just depends on what you want to sacrifice and gain

i'm a big ski size guy but there is no way you want or need park/street skis to be 10cm over your head. especially if you're new enough that you're asking for size advice. literally almost nobody uses park skis 10cm over their head. big mtn shit, sure. park, no. these people commenting to get 177s are idiots

Keep in mind that 6 cm won't make a world of difference - that's 3 cm on each side. 10 cm is where you start feeling the difference in ski length and even then it's a matter of taste.
It is always best to at least hold them in a shop because not every brand measures the length the same way.
171 seems like your safe bet. 177 might be a bit long unless that's what you are aiming for.
