Topsheet damage reaching wood

I have skied my new dollos for about 10 days and the top sheet damage is starting to reach wood. Normally I wouldn’t give a shit about topsheet damage but I’m worried it could fuck the ski up if the wood is getting exposed especially considering how new these are. can some one tell me if it’s a actual problem

Toss some epoxy, superglue or if you're in a tight spot, even putting some wax in there would help. All you need to do is seal it from water, could use duct tape if you really needed to haha.

That being said, I've chipped the shit out of every ski I've ever owned and my skis never got damaged from topsheet chips, the layer of the ski are still in-tact (especially in your photo) so its probably fine as is, but if you're worried take 5-10 mins to cover it with epoxy.

The only pair of lines I ever will own did that within 3 days, just epoxy it and paint over it if it really bothers you, as long as the core doesn’t rot it’s not going to affect the ski

LOL you think the core is actually exposed. Hilarious.

it's def close at least. easy to fix and prevents one of the few things that really will doom your ski quickly-- getting moisture in the core

It wont do anythimg. I skied with the edollos for years they got that to and way more over the years. and also han a core shot under för over a year. That you have wont do anything.

Man what ?

I had a small chunk of topsheet and upper laminates come out of my reckoner 102... imagine that?...anyway cleaned it up, slathered some G-Flex on the area, cured, trimmed, sanded and now it's better than new. I did a bunch of the tips and other topsheet and sidewall chips and it holds up better than the original materials by far.
