I was generalizing. There def is still hope but as a whole it seems pretty bleak out there.

The prime has come and gone. It's sad but it's the way it is. Still refreshing to hear some new shit that doesn't suck every once in a while.

i completely agree that 99% of new hip hop is terrible, but i must say this album is amazing. Incredible lyricists, and all live instrumentation. In my opinion its the album of the year to say the very least

im also really into uk rap, its not for everyone, but i just find that for some reason their accent makes them very precise with their wording and their songs generally have an awesome flow, theyre also ridiculously good at double time rapping. Two really good albums to check out in that style are United Colours of Beggattron, and Asylum Speakers, both by Foreign Beggars
 
Nah someone mentioned that, personally I'm not a fan of west coast hip-hop for the most part but that shit was revolutionary.
