the amp is part of your sound. ive played my shitty ibanez through my friend old fender amp from the 60's sounds OK, not great but OK, ive played it through my friends line 6, sounds like shit. my marshall sounds alrightm not great but not shit. amps do play a differrence, the guitar matters too. im saving up for a gibson sg and ither a vox or a marshall half stack ima buy it all at once so i have rad shit :]
