Top 3 best 2010 park skis

Hey! I'm wanna buy a new pair of park skis but with all whats avaible rigth now.. I just can't figure out what are the best.. so just share your top 3 ! Thanks

Isn't it kind of hard to know which 2010 skis will be best before the majority of people even have a chance to ski on them?

This will all end up being speculation with the exception of the people who have tried the skis out for themselves.

The 3 skis I have/getting :)

Planks

Lizzies

Invaders/Afterbangs(I don't have them)

I have too many park skis and not that great of a park haha. Oh well

armada alpha 2

amplid syntax

Line Afterbang

All new skis for 2010 and pretty innovative in their own ways. Though personally Ill be picking up Ar6's because I want 181cm skis and the Amplid Syntax and Afterbang only come in shorter sizes.

Just as he said; all the 2010 skis are pretty innovative. Instead of being skis that perform only good overall, pretty much every brand is releasing skis for different purposes. Personally, I ride for Dynastar&Lange, so I vote for their skis, and the reason for why I do that is because I've only been on the team since I turned 16 back in May, but in such a short period of time, their skis have impressed me far beyond what I thought was possible. I didn't really like the new design on the troublemakers, and the fact that the tips split up after a good three months of hard skiing, but besides all that the troublemaker have been, and always will be one of the best park skis out there. Now, they've released a new ski, double steel edges, wider, better design (god damn they needed that) and pretty much turned an old design into one of the best skis of all time; with the new 6th Sense Series. But since you want me to rate three skis, I'll rate you three skis and tell you something about them too, so you'll get a better piture of each ski and what you may use them for.

Dynastar 6th Sense SPIN - The reason for why I name this ski is the same reason for why I applied for a sponsorship deal with Dynastar in the first place: In my opinion it's the best ski out there, for mye purposes, which is bigger jumps, a huge variety of rails, in short term - A killer ski in the bigger parks.

LINE Chronics - This ski is worth every single nickle you put into it. The ski is slightly stiffer than the rest of the Line Setup, making it good for bigger jumps. As far as construction goes, I think I'll place it right behind the Völkl Walls and the Ar6. Although it's more of a jump-ski, I feel that it's got slightly better spesifics for railing, than jumping; although, as said a perfect ski for bigger jumps.

The third one I am going to mention due to the fact that it's proven to be extremely durable; the LINE Afterbangers. This is a lighter ski with the "skateboard"-technology everyone first was scepticle to, but soon learned that the ski's motto: Ski and Destroy had been given this motto, due to this "rail-proof" construction. I prolly should have mentioned the Ar6 from armada here, and the völkl Walls, but I find them pretty simmilar to the LINE Chronics, but in my opinion those two skis, are right behind, or beside the Dynastar 6th sense SPIN, so I won't bother tell you about those. Now, back to the afterbangers. The afterbangers is a ski, proved to cope with almost anything, but I've tested it, on everything from Small to big jumps, to sharp kink rails and whatever you can mention. Suberb control in smaller parks, but might loose to another big park ski when it comes to the bigger jumps, because it's slightly lighter than the skis mentioned above.

Good luck choosing, take your time; you're going to need it with this year's lineup.

Amplid Syntax

Armada Pipe Cleaner

Dynastar Sixth Sense Superpipe

Nordica Ace of Spades

Moment Reno Jib

those are all good jump skis that will be good everywhere(in park at least). Line Chronics could be a good one too if you don't mind mounting back a bit(-3 to -5 I recommend). For jib skis that will probably work everywhere as well:

Amplid Township/Anti D

Armada Thall(09 or 2010)

Armada Alpha 1

Moment reno rocker

Atomic Punx

I believe that Afterbangs will be the next Invader. we will see come late December when people have had extended time on them.

Why is everyone saying the alpha 2? You know it's just a toned down version of the alpha 1 right? So wouldn't that make the alpha 1 slightly better because it has better construction (such as core and base i believe)

Alpha2s are an amazeing ski, super light and they have a difrent flex and shape then the alpha 1.

shits the only thang i ride floats in 10 foot pow and den i painted dem red and i span a 3600 mo fuckas on sale for 500 for mai self and youh mystery man who once i get his adress will raep and kill kim

i hate threads like this

its alright to ask for some advice, but i cant stand people getting skis because everyone else gets them... make some decision, try stuff out, do things yourself

Coming from somebody who has ACTUALLY RIDDEN a pair of next year's skis, I would have to say that the walls were ridiculously awesome (rode them for 10 days at hood this summer). Pipe, rails, jumps, no small detail or anything about the skis held me back. Awesome skis, couldn't go wrong with them.
Don't trust anyone here unless they've actually skied on the skis.
And the buyers guides should be out soon. Check those out.

Its really useless asking. Everyone who posts here will have only pretty much ridden a pair, if any, of the 2010 lineup, the rest is hearsay. Those who actually have ridden a pair will probably only be able to compare it their last years park ski, which may, or may not, have been at all decent. Advice for you - take a leap of faith and go with a company with positive reviews or test the skis yourself before buying.

Based on 2009 skis:1) Moment Jib2) Line Elizabeth3) Volkl WallThe jibs pretty much have the same dims as the walls but just feel massively superior in quality. The Elizabeth is more or less the opposite end of the spectrum, but i'm pretty sure i'll be riding those this year. Love the width and love the flex. This year I would also say the Blue Steel from on3p will be a great ski. I haven't ridden them but they supposedly have a medium flex, good symmetrical shape and will be lightweight and extremely well made.

yeah but NS enjoys throwing out names of skis they never skied but read about on here. Especially when we don't even know what park use he wants.

I'm 5'8(1,75m) and 150 pounds (68kg) and I wanna know, what's the best park ski with the more flex for me ? do you have any suggestions please ?

why is everyone saying afterbangs???????
i bet 75% of you havent rode them
But to the thread creator its all just your preference. Everyones answers will be different

Some of these skis that poeple are putting up are not that great of skis, from the research i have done on pure park specific skis id narrow it down to these three

Amplid Antidogma

Liberty LTE

Atomic Punx/Volkl Walls

in my opinion from stiff to soft: chronics, walls, anthems

and all of these are super fun outisde the park too... specially the chronics

why does this site love ON3P yea ther stuff looks legit and props to the company but i bet 99 percent of people on here havent ridden them

moments legit get the reno jibs or rockers if you are looking for a little softer version

alpha 2 has a more durable base, but the alpha 1's have a performance orientated faster, but less durable base

different shape? i thought they only had a different base? alpha 1= pc base and alpha 2=ar 6 base?

is that a misconception of me? if so my bad. im confused, help a bro out.

peace
