Top 10 toughest trails on the east coast

well, its tough becasue its all ice and east coast snow. The trails are not hard to get down at all. Its just a matter of conditions

Have you even skied the east??? If you have, you'd know that this shit isn't that white fluffy stuff you ski in aspen. Yeah the terrain might not be quite as challeging as the west, but let me assure you, this stuff is no walk in the park.

at least they didnt put on white heat and the black hole, those trails really arent that hard, smugs hypes up the black hole like crazy and it isnt that bad

i've done one that i know of. alot of those mountians i've either never been to or haven't been to for years, i'll have to keep that web page as a checklist for this season.

yeah true. i remember the first time I skied Madonna liftline as a kid tho. was definitely something I had always looked at and was really proud to check off. my friend tumbled all the way to the bottom, haha.

i can honestly say i have done all of em acpet the one is mass. There are def fother that are hard if not harder that were left off that lsit thou

Shit, if only if I remember the names of the trails I've been on... Loon should def. have one trail on there, the one where two people died on.

ive done white nitro in powder, it was tough, i did lifeline, and i think i might have done chutpah

thats pretty bogus i have to say, some of those yes, but zoomer at cannon is not a tough trail, easy to bomb. what about tramline or kinsmen at cannon? those could easily rank in the top 3-5 so thats wack

lets see here...

1. goat & starr

2. competition

3. liftline

4. Rumble

5. Zoomer.

if they were going to include cannon, they should have made a mention of mittersill. liftline is ridiculous. goat and starr are some of my favorite runs in vermont.

Man, Dynamite at Tremblant is the toughest shit in the east. With all due respect to the so called "extreme skiers" out west, you'd be hard pressed to find anything as difficult as Dynamite anywhere west of the mississippi.

i think anything off Mount Baldy on the Alta side *excluding the main chute* would be harder than that, i grew up skiing east coast, your shit is very tough to ski for sure, but sometimes i think you guys get ahead of yourselfs.

So this Dynamite run is more difficult than schmidiots? How about eagles nest? Eagles' nest gets up to about 65 degrees. How about Pony Express? The east coast simply does not have the mountains to deliver a run that is more difficult than the gnarliest stuff out west. Icy bumps, glades, these things will make you a better skier. Skiing ANYTHING everyday will make you a better skier. But no one moves east for the terrain. I grew up back east and I will never go back. I don't know anyone else who will either.

How could they overlook paradise. I can see not looking at Tuckerman's as a lift serviced area, but how do you miss out on paradise.

ive done tuckermans, not hillmans highway though

and if u look at EPOCH, by MEAT HEAD FILMS, they do some crazy shit, all on the east coast, but most arent lift serviced

how did competition at berkshire east get on that list? there are at least 4 other trails that are even harder on that mountain.
