Tooth Through Lip

Just Yesterday I went off a cliff did a 360 and at impact my knee came up and drove my tooth all the way though below my lower lip. I went to the emergency room and got I think 11 stiches inside and out of my lip. I won't be skiing for a while, but I don't know how long. It really sucks my tooth hurts like a bitch so does my jaw. and my lip is bleeding, it's fat and ugly. I really wish that I was wearing a mouth guard and recomend it to anyone that is jumping.

last season i snaped my thumb clean in half, had to have surgury. i know how you feel it sucks

Two seasons ago, I was doing a 360 and some how I landed really far forward and fell into my face. My face had all kinds of skin torn off and burns from friction with the snow. Somehoow I had a huge downward gash in my bottom lip from my bottom teeth, the lip kinda wrapped up and over the teeth. It was a really deep cut and I have a big scar insoide my mouth. I bled a lot from everything all over my face. Then my car wouldn't start, when I gt a jump, it turned out that the car was also stuck in the snow. Then the CD player wouldn't work for some reason. IThe day before I had singed off all my hair on my face too in some unfortunate incidary device inncident.

thats the only part i hate in skiing, gettin hurt, if i wasnt scared of gettin hurt id b like pro by now

i've done it twice. once i actually slipped in the shower when i was 5 being an idiot, and got 4 stiches. the other time i hit a tree skiing when i was like 10, and my teeth got stuck in my lip. it fucking sucked and i swallowed so much blood. they had to pull the lip up and out to get it out. i only got 10 stiches i think, it could have been much worse.

 
you should go skiing anyways. just take it easy, maybe no park, just some groomers or something

some kid at High north bit completely through his lower lip on the rollercoaster rail, it was sick. i've yet to bit through my lip, but doing the same thing i have bitten into my thigh (through snowpants and into skin)

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

4 years ago, surfing in Puerto Rico got absolutly pummled by a wave, drove me straight down into the ocean floor. Driving my Chin straight into the sand therfore driving my bottomo teeth under my lip, it was sickening, had to go to the emergency room to have my skin pulled out from between my teeth...

yea injuries suck... now whenever im tryin a rail im not sure of and stuff i wear a mouth guard cause gettin ure teeth knocked out sucks and hurts a shit load. i was playin hockey on my backyard rink 4 years ago and i went to check my older bro into the snow and he put the end of his stick up and it knocked my right front tooth out, IT HURT LIKE A BITCH!

4 years ago doing a licoln loop 180 i hit knee to face cause i overshot the landing, knocked out four of my teeth, bit my tounge and lip OFF, and broke my jaw an palette, it took like 3 years of surgery. but now its all good, mouthgaurds are good, so are full face helmets when neceesary. separtaed shoulder as well, so i know how all of you guys feel. just get back into it and remeber why you ski in the first place. if it ain't fun, then don't do it. otherwise go huck yourself.
