hiked to the top after a session on the jibs near summit on 431, hiked up slide side. alot of exposure hiking up, but was able to find some freshies towards the top.. really good to get some early october lines.

. serious rock exposure towards the bottom though but i cant complain. it was real windy and cold up top so the fresh i did get was actually really good. great to see people going out and gettin it early

haha well its pretty clear im a noob at uploading pics on here..... bullwhip lift hike to top, second pic is cutthroat chute on slide side.

Yeeeeah, it's good to see my home mountain covered in snow again! I can't wait until I get to ski this season, I'm calling at least 6 days a week on my skis (although, since I'm an instructor up there, that shouldn't be too hard haha)

Too bad all the rain today washed most of the snow out, and more rain is on the way this next weekend...

so pissed about the rain. it was nice to get some early season in. does anyone know if these jibs are still up after all this rain???? dont wanna make the trip back up unless i know for sure their still goin.

Rose is probably the worst mountain ive been to in my life.

That said... i have to work there

Rose is a pretty typical ski hill. Its not that bad. The Chutes are awesome. People in Tahoe are pretty spoiled with great terrain.

Don't know why peeps knock Rose. High elevation in Tahoe, lots of terrain, easy access. Oh, then there's The Chutes. Some of the best 1,500 vert in Tahoe. Good ob nearby. Other than that......
