Well i have the candides, which to me are really skinny, and i used to have a pair of 1260s which were a little wider, and the 1260s were so much easier to slide rails with, plus they were centered mounted and all.. I tried a pair of 1080s this winter to which were wider, and they seemed easier, so personally i think so

ive seen the scratch BCs in vermont, and the pocket rockets. those arent really that wide compared to some real powder skis, so they shouldnt be a problem.

if you think the 180's are too wide, you think ALL of their skis will be

that's because all the skis are built proportionally, so the 160's, in proportion, are the same width of the 180's.

I'd say no, they're fine (all sizes are, obviously)

im sooo behind with skiing. i don't even know what skis your talkign about.

i live in southern vt and have a set of fischer big stix 106, demensions on the ski are 135-106-125. Its a big ski, but deffinitly worth it for the 4 or 5 days a year when we have enough snow to use them. I might even sell them to get an even bigger ski, like the k2 kahuna or if i could get my hands on a set of spatulas. the only reason i do own a set though is cause i can get crazy deals on shit and there just way to good to pass up.

i have 1080's, and i ski at martock...powder skiing is 4 inches of pow, and good skiing is groomed ice, but they work beautifully
