Too tall?

Yo guys, got some spirals like a month ago and was just thinking "wow, these are kinda massive compared to my armadas last year...
i'm 5'4 or 5'5 and these skis are 171
i'm almost 14
i have the new rossi px12 bindings (i think they're calling them the sas2 100???)
do these look a little big to you guys?

not at all, if my math is right your about 165 cm tall, thats only 6 cm longer than tall.

im am 5'11 which is about 180 cm and i ride 189 obsetheds which measure out actually to about 194. so dont worry
 
im 14 5'8" and i just got the 171 spirals. they are above my head too. yours look sick! a little tall tho i think
 
well my skis are 181s. and im 6'2". I like long walks on the beach. I have a slender athletic biuld, my best trick is a backside kangaroo nollie. Tom Wallisch. Jon Brogan. afterbang. what size jacket? an xl? your mom won't buy u skis? move out. I only like doing style tricks like 540s, double flips are lame. no poles is progressive. I think skiing is going in the wrong direction. is my inverted 5 a rodeo or a misty? support core companys. who is the hottest girl skier? global warming. opening day. 12 year old doing switch 10. name drop. claim. claim. claim. namedrop. namedrop. claim. bandana.tall T. sponsor. promo. does this outfit make me look fat?

no, really now buddy. those skis are a bit big now. but your only 14 so you will grow into them and maybe even out of them. don't worry. your good to go! all u need is snow!......yes that rymed
 
a center mount makes skis feel so short, it probably wont matter at all.

and to the thread creator, ur math is a little off bud. 30cm = 12in = 1ft

5ft 8in

5ft = 150cm

8in = 20cm

5ft 8in =170cm

5'6 is 165 cm

his skis are probably taller than him but thats probably because he says he is 5'8'' while actually being 5'7'' most people will round up to seem taller

 
def would not worry about the length. if you're a solid skier length you can always go a little out of your comfort zone when it comes to sizing. you'll grow into these just fine. might even need new boards next year, ya never know.
