Too stoked to keep this to myself. Contributing to the delinquency & New jibbing addicts.

So I made a post about this on Build-A-Jib 101 epic (now stickied) thread: Post an edit of your backyard/home-made setup in action . Decided that it was worth sharing so here's the story:

My son wanted to be a Cub Scout. In order for that to happen there had to be a Den Leader. No other dad's would or could do it so yours truly became the Den Leader. That was about a year and a half ago, and I probably suck as far as Den Leaders go, but last week our Den Meeting was JIBBING in my front yard. Not sure if there is a merit badge for that, but I may have to make one. My scouts are 7 and 8 years old. One of them was so stoked on it that he went home and made his own little PVC double barrel, and posted a video of him hitting it on my Facebook page. How awesome is that?!?!?!?!?!!

This is his first vid on NS, but I know it won't be his last. By the way, that's a mini hockey rink that his dad made next to his rail.

Please use this as a thread to post stories and footage about how you turned everyday citizens into frothing jibbing addicts.

Gotta love the basketball jersey look too. If I had known he was doing this, I would have loaned him my bandanna. Still pretty g. :-)

My 2 1/2 year old nephew wants to start skiing! I told him he has to wait till next year though. He's super stoked on skiing already! Always takes my hand and goes, "ski! ski!"... well in baby voice obviously. And he always puts like a lion in the DVD player. I'm not even joking. Can't wait till he's a little older.

Tought my 8 year-old brother how to 180 his second time skiing. He has now skiied about 10 times total and can do flat boxes. He just loves it.

I love skiing with my little brothers, they are so stoked and always try to go off boxes and stuff. Got friends more into it as well, a good friend of mine who is a girl wants to start park, i am a little hesitant of that though.

I always love seeing little dudes shred. Theres a lot of them on my team and I sometimes give them pointers and stuff. So sick, man!

at my local mountain there are little like 5 year olds hitting boxes in the progression park. its super funny cuz they sign up for park lesson and its a bunch of 5 year olds doing pizza pie on boxes. its raw

i wish i could teach my bro to follow in my footsteps but hes reely bad and has 0 balls to try anything new he hardly does flat boxes straight, mabey thats 'cause he broke his leg 2 yrs ago??

Probably the sickest thread i have ever clicked on hahah, I have been in scouts since 1st grade, and now 16 i almost have my eagle, scouts is what got me to start skiing, and i am suree as shit glad i did. People think its for nerds because of what they see on TV. Its actually pretty cool going on 90 mile hikes over summer and stuff. Tell your son to stay with it, shit helps for college when you get an eagle, a friend of mine got a $40,000 college scholarship.

Way stoked for you. We moved around a lot when I was young and I only had a chance to do a little bit of cub scouts and a very little bit of boy scouts. I have a buddy who was just about ready to earn his eagle. He was at swim team practice and someone gave him a message that his scout meeting was moved or something. The other guys on his swim team gave him shit about still being in scouting. He quit that day and said it is one of the biggest regrets of his life.

Current position is a life scout, need the project and 3 eagle required merit badges and i got it. so stoked, congrats on bringing that in to the skiing world.

Yeah we did skiing when I was in scouts...no jibbing though :(

I made Eagle myself a couple years back. Definitely glad my parents advised me to stick with it.
