too small?

I found a pair of 03/04 mad trix 163cm in perfect condition for $340 USD with some crazy racing bindings (din 5-15). They have no marks in the bases whatsoever, perfect topsheets, perect edges, perfect everything. They seriously look like they were never used...ever. But im 16, 5' 9' tall and weigh 140 pounds. Are these skis too small for me? Please guys i need your help.

I'm pretty good. I can ski any run in PA with ease, even if thats not saying much. I'm getting there in the park but im not great by any means. I mean they say 163s and are prolly about 165 in length...i dunno its a close call. I need more help.

 
dude, buy them, sell them for like 430 if there super good condition, and go buy a larger ski, and everything will be great

yeah...or don't get them at all...it's kinda short...I got my PE's 179s for 300 with rossi axial 110 bindings...used but a buddy has all the tunning gear so they are dope and cheap

haha. My dad just made the statement that for what i do (park riding and such) that 163 were perfect...i dont think he knows what hes talking about.

Damnit...if they were the next size up.

 
I am 17, 5'9, 145 pounds, and ski a 178 Volkl V-Expression...it wouldn't hurt to go longer at all (for you that is)

im almost 6 1. but i run CC and track and that really make me look like jack skeletion from nightmare before xmas. but i still dress well and get alot of ass.

anything above 160 is just personal taste. less than 160 for someone 5'6+ is too small. that's just the very rough way i tell people to do it.

That isn't exactly cheap either. I got a pair of madtrix for $150 brand new 172cm last season. Im about 5'11-6', and Im probably going longer with my next pair of skis.

 
r the 03/04s the snake topsheet ones. cuz if there the old black and white tiped ones its def not worth it. and they r too short unless your a ski boarder. seriously 163 is a skiboard lenght
