Too much swing weight?

I've been thinking a lot about how much my px's suck lately and i cant help but notice how heavy my mojo 15s also are also. I feel the weight of the bindings might be holding me back. I have never had a pair of pivots and I know they are pretty light and a lot more under your foot then the px. Am I just thinking too much about this stuff or should I be looking for lighter bindings?

You're over thinking it completely. The marginal difference in weight of bindings is so small when they're actually on your feet that you wouldn't notice.

yeah you just suck at skiing....
jk, but bindings really only affect you when you take them off and need to carry them or something. Bindings aren't really swing weight, just weight since it's basically underfoot.

Ya man. I would say that 99% of bindings only differ by a few ounces in weight. I have ridden all of the bindings mentioned in this thread so far and I don't ever notice a difference.

The difference between a 912 and a Px12 is 300g (approx .6lbs) thats less than the weight of a can of coke. And its all central so it wont really affect swing weight anyway. I have 2 pairs of Jesters and 1 Pair of Px12s and you barely notice the difference.

I have pxs on my skis and I can huck 5s off rollers and 3s off anything. Bindings don't really affect swing weight, its either skis or the way you pop and set rotations if you're feeling weird in the air. Probably not the skis.
