I'm really pushin on gettin 185 arv this year, im 5'7", are those too long??? im pretty sure i cant handle them.

well 176 seems good for me, i actuatly want 180s, but i dunno any other opinons?

no one can really judge except u. But shit that is long for someone ur size but if ur a good skier u should b able to handle it. Great for big mountian bad for park.

here if you 57 200 pounds that one thing but at 57 and like 155 you gonan have to be pushin hard to ride these well why the big size may i ask

If your skiing pow and all ,mountain with them then helll;s yeah get the 185's the park would be hard though. there not light. the 175 arv' weighes more than the 188 Jp. get 176 arv's for park that would be dope i might get a pair for park.

i more close to the 200 and 155, that helps, im pretty sure i could do it i was just wondering what ppl thought.

You are probably one of the few people in the world I genuinely hate with a passion.

Glad I couldn't help!

depends on ability and weight have you ever seen bode millers skis fricken like a foot over his head or more

I think that's a bit big for you, I'd get the next size down. I'm skiing 185 cm powder skis and I'm 6' 1", just to give you an idea. There's just a certain point where big skis go from fun to kicking your ass, and you really don't want to spend that much money to go past that point.

I see what you are saying, they are to much taller than me tho, i dunno im still figuring this out

id have to say get the 175 arvs. or possibly 180 msps very similar ski. but 185 for a 5'7" guy? im 6'3" and ride 180s they feel great and are everything i need. i do ski mostly park but they perform amazing. i weigh bout 180 lbs and have really strong legs from hockey. so if you are 8 inches shorter then me weigh probably less then me, dont know what kinda shape ur in but you get my point. it seems like a stretch to get longer skis then someone who is 8 inches taller then you. i say 175-180 for you would make the perfect bc ski. if you go longer then 180 i can garantee that if you ski down a pow face with and abnomalities those skis will be super hard to control itll be hard to get leverage to turn and wont be fun. glades? tight turns? park? forget about it. just less control turning ability. those are my thoughts if i were you id get 175 ARVs. i demoed 175s and they are quite amazing

185 doesnt seem much bigger than 176 to me, 9 cms? thats like the length of my ipod its really not that much, and 175 would feel small for powder i think since my park skis would be bigger.

Also, not to sound like a cocky kid or something, but referencing to tanner hall, hes 5'6", and he ride the JP vJUL that are 188 and yes hes a pro skier, and all that shit, but what im 3 years younger than him he just happends to be able to switch cork 10 true tail ha, i dunno its just a reference point.

it really depends on what type of terrain you ski. when i was 5'7 i was skiing 185 pocket rockets. but that was becuase i dont think i had ever skiied park, and wasnt planning on it, (im still not now that i think about it) but anyway, they worked great for me. i was like 5'7 and 130, so im a small kid, but i ski powerful. they worked great for me. so yea, it all depends.

Yeah, i raced for like 3 year, and ive been doing moguls for the past 3 years, im a pretty strong skier.

now that i think about it i rode 185 arv's before i got my 175's...i'm like 5'7 135 and they didn't kick my ass and that was on groomers. i bet you'd like the extra length in the pow.
