Too Cold for School?

Yes! Duxbury Public has no school tomorrow because it is too cold. Supposed to have a high of 14. Personally, I think this is very stupid but I wount argue. school sucks.

it was real cold here, most schools were canccelled except mine but i just stayued home anyways. they were on the news i gfuess and a bunch of people were mad we didnt close. they said maybe tomorow. i hope so.

Ya they are thinking about closing a lot of schools in CT the cancellations are all over schools, i really hope that my school gets cancelled because we have midterms, and also we would have a four day weekend

going to be like -20 with wind chill and they figure the diesel buses won't start and lil kiddies walking to school will get frostbite like that kid in worchester today. thats why 64 schools in massachusetts have cancelled school for tomorrow

 
I got no school tomorrow. Gonna be atleast -40 tonight and tomorrow. Yay. And it's getting warmer for the weekend. Thank god cause I'm going up to sunday river.

yeah, last week our school, in n. tahoe, was cancled b/c it got so cold the diesel in the busses geled up, it had to be one of the sweetest ski days ever.....

it was -40 here with the wind and our school heaters broke in a lot of the classes and we still had school, we had to wear our coats and hats and gloves

in edmonton alberta school doesn't cancel. it was -60 with windchill didn't close, 1.5 feet of snow didn't close, our schools would stay open if there was a fucking tornado

i have no school too, they are pumpn snow out so hard, it will be a great ski day tomorrow. it was pretty good tonight, and will be better tomorrow with the sun and all.

thats such crap.... our high was -7 today and i dont think it got above -15 low of course was -40 with wind chill. Half our kids have to walk to school and the other halfs cars wouldnt start. They had to start the buses with blow torches to warm up the engines and they still didnt cancel school.... fuck that

the diesel suppliers mix kerosene with the diesel in the winter to counteract that gelling up of the fuel....

our school's supplier didn't do that. almost none of our buses will start, and at least 10 of them have died on the roads.

i have a day off today..... 4 day weekend.

let's see. monday i had an hour off. tuesday was my only full day of school all week. wednesday was a 2 hour, followed by a 1hr. thursday, and a day off today (friday). this week was awesome, and i'm missing midterms too!

my school closed cause of the cold. I think it might have to be w/ the schools bad budget cause its too expensive to keep it warm. the ski slope is also closed cause its too cold here, so i screwd the bottom of my new skis riding the 2 inches of snow i got in my yard. also, we might have some power blackouts.

We had a delay this morning cause of the temps. They cancel school because they dont want kids to stand outside to wait for the bus for long periods of time in the freezin' temps.. It's really gay, but hey, thats less school for me!

AH! they wont cancel school for us at all becasue we cant miss any more classes. we had a week off in october for bike races and now we're missing out on the snow days....even though we just got so much this week and it was like -40 celsius
