So in conclusion the colts actually ran the ball while the patriots had brady throw it so much more it took him about 80 more passes to throw that one touchdown. He had the best season by any wide reciever(randy moss) to help him with that. Yea his completion % was a little better and he threw more yards. Not to mention peyton played a total of 3 quarters in his last two games while brady threw like 50 passes in his last game.

Wheres the argument??

 
decent argument except for the fact that you used info from 2004 on manning. its now the 07-08 season so what you described as "tons of reasons" do not apply here. brady is the best hands down whether you like him or not. you cant tell me if you were to choose an all star team to head to the super bowl you wouldnt choose brady as QB.

Your whole argument how the colts ran the ball is completely irrelevant to your statement of "Manning is better than Brady". They're quarterbacks, what does running the ball having anything to do with Peyton being better. It's like saying skiing is way better than snowboarding, there are 42398492634 skiers and only 234 snowboarders hence why it is so much better...completely irrelevant proof. You couldn't back up the point of peyton better than brady if you tried...why? because brady has the rings and brady is banging Gezele (sp), simple as that!
 
this is a joke right? I read a thread titled "tons of reasons why manning is better than brady" and I see maybe one reason (a very weak one at that). Please learn how to make an argument and back it up before you try and rant.
 
brady went 26 for 28 vs a playoff team, and BOTH incomplete passes were dropped by the reciever... so SHUT THE FUCK UP
 
yeah you guys need to chill even though im a giants fan and hate the pats give them credit for good play, im not agreeing to people who say brady is one of the best (he isnt....yet) but overall they are the best team in football right now

in football the most important stat is winning. Also if you knew anything about football it helps a quartback to have a good running game.
 
especially in the super bowl, these stats don't fuckin matter. anyone can google stats

but two stats that should be taken in to consideration are that eli hasn't thrown a pick all playoffs yet and the giants have won 10 straight road games

and brady may have a bum ankle

I agree that Manning is better but you can throw the stats out the window. Its not all about TDs or wins, its about the quality, and difficulty of the passes that they throw. From the game that i have seen from both qbs (which is a lot) manning has thrown better passes and I believe that he is a grater asset to his team.

we did have a running game untill sammy morris got hurt, and lawrence maroney was hurt, morris was the key running back, hes gona have a monster year next year
 
its the O line, manning is far better...he is amazing, but brady has a better line and SO much more time. brady is good but manning is deffinetly a smarter qb, if he had bradys line he would rip defenses apart so easily.

How does this matter right now, the real thing we should be talking about is how ELI manning and the giants will beat brady and the pats in th superbowl

yeah the giants will win if we sit our entire offensive line and bring in pop warner kids to protect brady. otherwise theres no chance. the NFL might as well just ship the trophy to Gillette right now.
 
he won the superbowl MVP jis rookie year, the GIANTS suck, greenbay shoulve won. Tom Brady is the best NFL quarterback there ever was
 
maroney missed 3 games this year as oppose to james who in 2004 played for 16 games, 3 more than maroney this season. james only got 3 more touchdowns in 04 than maroney did this season yet he played in 3 more games. sammy morris had two, one hundred plus yard games when he filled in for maroney when he was hurt.

Brady - Plays OUTDOORS in New England.

When Brady plays at home, more than often weather plays a factor. A good example of this is the Jets game, where he threw no TD's and a pcik for a nice 51.5 passer rating. This is versus the JETS. If the game was in good weather or in a dome we probably would have squashed them 50-0 and brady would have thrown for 5+ TD's, but that's not the case. I was at that game, it was cold, raining/snowing, windy, and very messy There was no way Brady was gonna have a good day passing.

As for our running game, we run when we need to, such as last week vs the chargers when Brady was having an off day. Maroney can carry the ball, but he hasn't been healthy all year, and our second running guy, Sammy Morris, got injured part way through the season. So for a while we only had 1 main back, which is why we relied on passing so much. Regular season rushing total is 1849 on 451 carries, the Colts in 2004 had 1852 on 427. We actually ran the ball more than the Colts did.

peyton had harrison, wayne, and stokely and clark, which is better than moss stallworth welker and watson. moss is a little better than harrison was back then, stallworth sucks compared to reggie wayne, welker is better than stokley, but clark pwns ben watson
 
Manning isnt shit, without Brandon Stokely.

Brady, on the other hand can be lethal with most wide receivers, but is UNSTOPPABLE with the ones he has now, where 2 (or 3) of them are new: Welker, and Moss and possibly Stallworth, I don't remember if he was there last year or not.

Last year Brady got to the playoffs and won a game without his favorite 2(or 3) receivers: Moss and Welker (and was Stallworth there last year?? I am blanking)

Manning is just another guy, with the exception that he audibles more than anybody that has played the position of quarterback.
