Tonights Espisode of South Park

They are contractually obliged to continue production until April 2013. Unless they manage to wiggle out of it with minimal monetary reprimands... who knows.
 
Pretty sure thats a rumor. I have yet to see that come from a reputable source (please, if I'm wrong correct me). To my knowledge the last time their contract was extended it was for 14 episodes 2011, meaning they have seven left.
 
Could be, but nothing in the entertainment industry would sound too far-fetched so it's plausible.

I would be sad to see SP go, seeing as City Sushi was one of the greatest episodes of all time, up there with Tenorman. The guys (and/or their staff) are geniuses when it comes to playing off cliches and cultural stereotypes.
 
Just watched it.

There were a few laughs toward the beginning and middle, but the last 10 minutes were straight depressing. This has got to be some sort of hint at the end of South Park coming....
 
It was really sad. Ive watched southpark for like ever and it really hit home and made me think about getting older. Like how i only have one year of hs left and stuff like that. You can hate on it all you want but it was a serious deep statement that this is the beginning of the end and when they finally choose to end it, you can believe that they will go out in true south park fashion
