At 2:00 tomorrow afternoon, i'm going under the knife, and saying farewell to my tonsils.

They are large, and i got awful sore throats last fall.

I have to stop eating at midnight tonight, and stop drinking at 10 am tomorrow morning.

My friend had his out earlier this year, and said it was by far the worst experience of his life. "Swallowing water was like drinking a sandstorm".

I'm all loaded up on homeopathic medicines for soft tissue repair and pain/ swelling, and i hopefully will get some percocets.

Now, what would you eat for 2 hours if you basically couldn't eat for about 5-10 days afterword? and has anyone had theres out in teenage years (i'm 17).

bleh. I'll update this when i come out of the hospital on morphene tomorrow.

 
i assumed it would be something immature like his dick is going away into some girl, or something like that
 
it's pretty badass. it hurts for like a day or two, get painkillers if possible. tell them you can't stand the pain. basically i ate ice cream for 3 meals a day for about a month. it was awesome, i gained like 10 pounds, but it was awesome. then you have the occasional pudding and applesauce in between. have fun.
 
if it were me i'd go to subway, by 5 foot long subs, bring them back home and eat till you fall aspleep, and then when you wake up start eating again.
 
ya i got mine out this year (im 17) its really not THAT bad. pretty intense just sleep all day and take drugs then get off the drugs after about a week (they made me hella sick). its not that bad, kinda gross when you cough out bloody lougies
 
HAHA...fun stuff. I had to do that when I was like six and I ate basically only jello for a week. I love jello
 
I remember getting my adenoids out... it was kinda painful but besides that you get to watch tv all day and sleep... get used to ice cream, pudding, jello and applesauce... maybe soup
 
i got my adenoids out when i was 7. wasn't that scary until the Anastasia part came, but i was fine. and free popsicles when you're done recovering!
 
I had my tonsils and adenoids out, deviated septum fixed, and sinuses cleaned, all in one surgery...Worst 2 weeks of my life.

dont be a bitch, i got mine out last year over christmas and yea it hurt but i was fine like a week after i got it done. the best thing to do is NOT sit around at home, go out and get your mind off the pain.

hydrocodone was fun though
 
i got mine out in 7th grade and it is pretty miserable for the 1st week.....it hurts like a bitch just to swallow your own saliva and throughout the week youll cough of black scabs from your throat...really sucks
 
well. I'm back. It sucks.

I got percocets.

And for all the people saying man up. - i have a feeling you got them out when you were little. You get better in a matter of 2-3 days then. I'm supposed to take 7-10.

ITs not awwwwful. but it really does suck. Especially that its summer. fuck me.

 
yup, yup, yup. got that shit when i dislocated my elbow was on it for about a week. apparently the funniest movie i have ever seen was cool runnings all hopped up on that shit. and i watched a bunch of random movies that were also hilarious on it like the mighty ducks movies, cars, and of course teenage mutant ninja turtles. lets just say it was a fun week.
