Tom Wallnuts breaks world record

Love the confidence to put his hands down the last 100 feet.

Would have been better if he did a blind 2 out.

doubt anyone breaks this for a while, simply because of the hassle of trying to make a rail that is longer than 440 feet. they should keep that rail and just keep adding 10 feet on every year and having him break the record over and over again
 
i like how he afterbanged the crap out of it once he knew he got to the end. the last 20 ft he had the "no big deal" stance.
 
Someone please hike up there and see if it's still there, and if it is I say we have a ns gathering and add some other rails and beat the new record

If they are gonna add 10+ meters to the rail simen slid, its longer than the rail that tom slid.
 
I just really hope he had practically no edges. Imagine how bad it wouldve been, to be going that fast and catch an edge...

Damn im surprised his skis held up. He said it took 400+ attempts and i feel like there would be hella friction on rails that stupidly long.
 
When I was at springs for the mashed tater meltdown the word on the street was that he quit. So stoked he went back and got it

yea i wonder was his bases looked like after that. i remember the snowboard world record for this was melting their p-tex.

When they said: Wallisch returned to find the rail on its side.. He was devastated hahah it looked like he was crying he was so sad about it.
 
Insane, what makes it so crazy is that rail is relatively flat. When Basti Rittig set the snowboard world record, the rail was so much steeper.
